The world’s first offshore mobile platform, ” ConerTech 1″ for boost the production capacity of oilfields, recently commenced construction in Qingdao, Shandong Province.
This mobile platform, designed and constructed by CNOOC Energy Technology & Services Limited, marks the new milestone of substantive construction for the world’s first offshore mobile platform, which pioneers a new pathway for large-scale and high-efficiency development of mid-to-late stage offshore oil and gas fields. The platform will provide comprehensive services for Bohai Oilfield, including heavy oil thermal recovery (SAGD), acidization, and fracturing operations. It represents a significant achievement in pursuing “high-end, intelligent, and green low-carbon” development objectives.
Scheduled for completion and delivery in 2026, “ConerTech1″ sets new benchmarks for offshore oilfield development.

For example, our high-efficiency cyclone desander utilize advanced ceramic wear-resistant （or called, highly anti-erosion） materials, achieving a sand removal efficiency of up to 0.5 microns at 98%. This allows produced gas to be injected into the reservoirs for low permeability oilfield that utilizes miscible gas flooding and solves the problem of low permeability reservoirs development and significantly enhances oil recovery. Or, it can treat the produced water by removing particles of 2 microns above at 98% for directly re-injected into reservoirs, reducing marine environmental impact while enhancing oil-field productivity with water-flooding technology.
